Storage Requirements
Oxidising Acids
All oxidising acids are highly reactive with most substances and with each other. Examples : Nitric, sulfuric, perchloric, phosphoric and chromic acids

Primary Storage Concern : To prevent contact and reaction with each other and other substances and corrosive action on surfaces. Each oxidising acid must be double-contained, i.e., the primary container must be kept inside. Recommended Facilities/Measures : Safety cabinet
Compatible Storage Groups
Oxidising acids must be double-contained and should be segregated in their own compartment in a safety cabinet. When quantities are small (e.g 1 or 2 bottles) they do not warrant a separate compartment. Small quantities may be double contained and stored with organic and mineral acids. Store oxidising acids on bottom shelf below organic and mineral acids.

Organic And Mineral Acids
Example : Acetic, nutyric, formic, glacial acetic hydrochloric, mercaptoproprionic, proprionic, trifluoroacetic acids.
Primary Storage concern : To prevent contact and reaction with bases and oxidising acids and corrosive action on surfaces.

Compatible Storage Group : Small amounts of double-contained oxidising acids can be stored in the same compartment with organic acids if the oxidising acids are stored on the bottom shelf.
Exception : Acetic anhydride and trichloroacetic anhydride are corrosive. These acids are very reactive with acids and should not be stored in this group. It is better to store these with organic compounds listed as Non-volatile Liquid Poisons, such as acrylamide solution; diethylprocarbonate, diisopropyl fluorophosphates, uncured epoxy resins, ethidium bromide, triethanolamine

General Description
We had special made block digestors for private service laboratories and industrial laboratories
to meet their specific requirements on work load, temperature requirements and test configirations.
Among the units we made are for environmental and food testing laboratories, chemical

HOTECH BLOCK DIGESTORS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE IN TWO MODELS –

The Hotech High Performance Dryers are designed for speed drying of food, agricultural, herbal or soil samples.
Features
The Dryers are constructed of powder coated mild steel, finished throughout in acrylic stove enamel paint. Two models are available to suit your choice. The Model HFD-38 is a bench-top
model. The Model HFD-825 is floor standing and mounted on castor wheels for easy transportation. For both models, the shelves are removable and can be fully adjusted for heights at one inch gaps. The heating elements are built in the top cabinet (for Model HFD-38) or side cabinet (for Model HFD-825) to avoid any possible damage by water dripping from samples. Drying is aided by a heavy duty hot air fan. Drying temperature is set by digital thermometer. Guided air-flow ensures a complete circulation of hot air in drying chamber. An independent built-in safety thermostat takes over control of Dryer if the control thermostat fails. This prevents destruction of samples. The glass doors are filled with full length magnetic gaskets or spring loaded catches to ensure that the doors are tightly secured.
